SHED YOUR SKIN OR DIE
(the video)The video evolved out of the performance of the same name. While the performance was a collaboration with M.J. Kwan, the video was a solo project, created from sections of the performance and augmented with new material. Portions of the live performance were refined and video taped. Several scenes of/with M.J. shot for the performance were edited into the video. Also, the audio that accompanies the pelican dives was extracted from video segments of MJ performing a certain water ballet dive that had been used in the performance.
