Primary Sequence (1985)
Primary Sequence was originally created as a video aspect of the installation, Chariot Chamber. Primary color dot and wipe patterns accompanied by recorded breathing and heartbeat represent the essential first steps (visualization and physical requirements) of an ancient Egyptian yoga. As a single-channel piece it’s a purely minimalist, meditative video.
